The absence of Brian May’s song in the film hurt Queen’s star. The song was written for the 1998 Gwyneth Paltrow love story Sliding Doors, which is airing tonight at 9 pm on BBC 1, Brian May composed a track.
The Queen singer Queen recently expressed his complete displeasure that the track was cut off, however, the Queen singer is thrilled that the song made an incredible return.
Another World from the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Another World, the second album by Brian May released in 1998 The album was re-released earlier in the year. Its title song was actually made for the film Sliding Doors, it turns out.
The lyrics from the 1998 Gwyneth Paltrow love song “In A Different World” show two different scenarios for the protagonist’s life. However, due to contractual issues, the song was not able to be included in the movie Sliding Doors.
The song’s creator, Brain, said: “I discovered it was easy to compose this song since I was writing about my own personal experiences of my personal relationships and my personal feelings.
The tale of what might be the outcome if a single change in the course of history and the relationship is or isn’t impressed me.
So I imagined how my life might be in a different world, and I composed songs like Another World. If that didn’t go as planned I was sad, but I decided, “OK, this is my song.” That’s the core of my writing. Then it became the central hub on which my album spun.
Since then it has been on the Canary Islands, where the 75-year-old was able to complete his Ph.D. in Physics at Tenerife’s Teide Observatory, Brian has recorded a brand new music video called Another World.
It is the El Hierro island tree that is visible on the album’s cover art of Another World, as well as the observatory, which is prominently featured in the latest video.
The Queen was reported to have said: “I performed the observing work to complete my Ph.D. in this beautiful area high above the clouds. It was also the place where I would wander out at night to play my Acoustic guitar, sing and perhaps connect with the universe!
